moweb wins the ESOMAR ‘Best Social Impact Research’ Award

Yes! We’ve won the award!
In 2026, moweb research was named one of the ESOMAR “Regional Winners” in the “Best Social Impact Research” category. We entered the competition with our study on the Education and Participation Package (BuT), carried out in collaboration with the Berlin-based NGO Viva Equality.

We’d like to take this opportunity to extend a special thank you to Tatiana Davydova! Well done, great job! Our thanks also go to Viva’s study project manager, Esther Feiertag. It was a real pleasure for all of us to work with you!

Here’s what it was all about:
Which families (and, above all, their children) in Germany are entitled to receive state grants to help with the costs of education, culture and other social services? Where are the obstacles and communication problems? Where, and why, do so many eligible people still fall through the cracks?

The specific aim of the study:
Where can Viva Equality take action to ensure that the BuT system is used more effectively in Germany? Some of the answers were predictable, whilst others were quite surprising. Find out more in our news article here (article in German only)!

Your success, our goal!
